The Easter Parade, for those that don’t know, is a tradition dating back to the 1870’s in New York.  On Easter Sunday every year people dress in their finest clothes and stroll up and down 5th Avenue admiring each others outfits. It is a fashion extravaganza with hats being the focal point.

It was also made famous in the 1948 movie ‘Easter Parade’ staring Judy Garland & Fred Astaire with music by Irving Berlin.

This year was no exception with outfits and hats ranging from the chic and sophisticated to the far out. Famed milliner Stephen Jones even joined the procession.
